• Externally reinforced spoke holes strengthen the area where the rim sees the most force around the spoke nipple
• This provides improved strength without adding unnecessary weight
• Rim bead is hookless, making for a better fit with modern tires, but also simplifying manufacturing, which results in more consistent carbon compaction and a stronger rim
